KIMS PROJECTS TITLES
Kim Frank (MFA, MSW) is a writer and editor crafting long- form stories with some of the world’s top photographers and filmmakers, together highlighting conservation and exploration across the globe. Publications include co-writing /editing Amaze by SeaLegacy founder, Cristina Mittermeier and writing/ co- editing Born to Ice by National Geographic photographer, Paul Nicklen (teNeues Publishing 2018). A Fellow of The Explorers Club, Kim’s work is also published in Oceanographic Magazine, Alert Diver, The Explorers Journal, Maptia, American Literary Review, Sidetracked Magazine, DuPont Registry, Blackbird Literary Journal, Colorado Review, and in SVPN Magazine where she served as Editor from 2014-2017. A 2014 Idaho Literature Fellow with an MFA from the Warren Wilson Program for Writers and an MSW from the University of Pennsylvania, Kim writes and consults with individuals and organizations on the art and craft of storytelling. Current projects include: Writer on the Wildlife Killing Contest campaign with National Geographic filmmaker, Filipe Deandrade, judge for The Explorers Club 50, and her book in progress, ‘The Elephant in the Hourglass: A Journey of Reckoning and Hope Along the Himalaya’.
